Benjamin Jealous, National President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, will discuss his vision for the organization as it celebrates its 100th anniversary. The 36-year-old former Alameda resident is the youngest person to become president of the NAACP.
The event will be held at the Oakland Museum at 6 p.m. Free. The Oakland Museum is located at 10th & Fallon Street in Oakland.
