Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration at Berkeley City College
2050 Center Street, Berkeley, 6-9 p.m., FREE.
The Berkeley City College Black Student Union (BSU) is hosting it's second annual Pre-Kwanzaa event this Friday, Dec. 5 from 6-9 p.m. The event will take place in the Berkeley City College Auditorium.
There will be a live performance by spoken word artist Ise Lyfe. There will also be african drummers, free food, and more.
BCC is located at 2050 Center Street in Berkeley.

The Piano Lesson" at the Oakland Museum

After a successful run at Laney College, "The Piano Lesson" returns.
On December 5 at 7 p.m. the Oakland Museum of California will host Laney Fusion Theater's version of August Wilson's play. The event is a part of its First Fridays After Five series and will be held in the James Moore Theatre. The play is directed by Laney Theatre Dept. Chair Michael Torres and features Donald Lacy, and Laney's Fusioneros.
